Hey guys,
Man it has been years since I jumped on here. A lot has changed in my life the last almost 5 years.
I have loved and lost love, traveled all over and had the best times of my life. Now I am facing the hardest time which is finding a career that pays decent that I love. I am always looking for something better. I guess that is not a bad thing.
Unfortunately I have not found anything in my field of biochemistry so I have been working commission sales jobs to make ends meet. I bought my first house back in August but I might be moving to Seattle or Denver in the next few months. I am starting to think about getting into insurance sales or financial advising.
It is so hard these days for a college grad to find a job. In the last 3 years I have applied to over 500 jobs and I have only had 10 interviews. It is crazy how many qualified people are out looking for jobs and end up working in random occupations like myself. I even bartended for a year. I am the best employee and always top salesman but it is not enough to get me noticed by any decent employer. My love of investing and saving is all that is getting me through this month as my finances took a huge hit last month with my pay being cut 60% and being shorted 1400 in my check for January.
As I get older I find I spend less time on how I look and put all my energy and focus into getting better at my job or finding a better job. I just don't feel like getting up earlier and caking on the makeup and worrying about it smearing all day.
I started a youtube and a twitch channel. Both have the same content right now. I have not gone live or recorded anything new in 5 months.
Let me know what you have been up to and how your life has changed in the years.
