It has been forever since I last wrote. I have been so busy with my business these past couple of months. I started selling at three stores and I am trying to make enough product to sell at the Helen Brett show April 19th. I have recently started carrying unique handcrafted jewelry. I have noticed that jewelry sells very well and I saw that around this area no one was selling vintage chic looking jewelry. I started working with jewelry business's around the world so I could have unique items. I also made sure to work with small business owners like myself. There prices were not the cheapest but I feel it is essential that we small business owners stick together and support each other.

Kirsty Mitchell Gaia's Promise

I got on Facebook the other day and saw this picture and it was like a ray of sunshine because it has been raining and sleeting for what feels like a month here. I was beginning to forget how the sunshine looked and how happy it makes me. I am in love with these pictures that Kirsty Mitchell took. They are so vibrant and unique.

She makes all her props and doesn't use photo shop which is just amazing since her pictures look unreal.

Vanilla Chia Seed Pudding

 

In my quest to find healthier lower calorie "desserts" I ran across chia seed pudding and just had to try it. I love tapioca and rice pudding so I thought it would be similar but have more health benefits. Chia seeds are suppose to have more antioxidants than blueberries. 

I mixed one cup of vanilla almond milk to three tablespoons of chia seeds and let it chill overnight. The next morning I had a bowl for breakfast and it was delicious. It was lightly sweet and so quick and easy to make. You could add fruit or fruit purees to customize it to your liking.
